Creamed spinach is highly nutritious and complements a multitude of entrées. Make a batch this Thanksgiving!

Creamed Spinach

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup milk
2 cups finely chopped cooked spinach
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:

Melt butter in a saucepan and blend in flour. Gradually add milk keeping mixture smooth. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Add spinach and seasonings, blend thoroughly, heat and serve.
