Protect Your Pet’s Paws

During the winter, massage a thin layer of petroleum jelly onto the bottom of your dog’s feet before heading outside. This will help protect your pet from salt and other winter chemicals used on roads and sidewalks to melt ice. Give paws a quick wipe before heading inside.

Keep Fido Fresh and Clean!

Baking soda works great as a dry shampoo for dogs. Simply rub some directly into the fur, then brush it out. Your pup will smell fresh and clean!

Skunk Deodorizer

To remove skunk spray odor from skin, fur, or fabric, mix 1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, and a teaspoon of grease-cutting liquid dish soap. Work into the affected area with gloved hands, rinse, and reapply as needed.

To remove cat and dog hair from clothes and furniture, rub them with damp rubber gloves.
